An inksetter in New York, Quoyle returns to his family’s longtime home, a small fishing town in Newfoundland, with his young daughter, after a traumatizing experience with her mother, Petal, who sold her to an illegal adoption agency. Vet inte riktigt vad jag ska tycka. Jag har sett mycket bättre filmer från Lasse Hallström. Filmen innehåller en massa kända skådespelare och dessa gör ett mycket bra jobb. Som vanligt blir man inte besviken på Kevin Spacey. Storyn är egentligen också bra, men någonstans brister det för jag tycker inte filmen riktigt når fram til mig. Det blir en trea, kanske lite stark.
