Already a boxoffice hit in Asia, Jet Li’s Fearless, directed by Ronny Yu (helmer of the Hong Kong classic The Bride with White Hair), is Jet Li’s final martial arts masterpiece, capping a tremendous body of work in that genre. Jet Li’s Fearless reunites the actor and martial arts superstar with producer Bill Kong (Hero) and action choreographer Yuen Wo Ping (Unleashed) as he portrays martial arts legend Huo Yuanjia, who became the most famous fighter in all of China at the turn of the 20th Century. Huo faced incredible personal tragedy but ultimately fought his way out of darkness and into history, forever defining the true spirit of martial arts. His self-discovery, and the choices he made, inspired his nation.

Som alltid imponerar Jet Li med sina fantastiska kampsortsscener. Att det är Yuen Wo Ping som koreograferat gör ju inte saken sämre. Många säger att detta är en av de bästa asiatiska filmer som någonsin kommit. Den innehåller både action och kärlek. Jag vill till viss del hålla med. Filmen är riktigt bra. Men det finns en uppsjö av bättre asiatiska filmer. Både med och utan kampsport. Tycker även att den påtalade kärleksbiten inte var speciellt stor. Förutom den personliga tradegin han får utstå.
Mycket trevlig film, med vackra miljöer, bra skådespel och snygga kampsportscener. Troligtvis är det för att jag inte riktigt hängde med i svängarna, som den “bara” får en stark 3:a i betyg.

Upon waking up after hibernation, a group of forest animals discover that a tall hedge has appeared out of nowhere, half their forest is gone, they have little to no food left. While Verne, a nervous turtle who acts as leader, suggests they simply adapt, RJ the raccoon shows up and gives them another option: go over the hedge and get food from the humans! The other forest animals quickly give into RJ, sneaking into the human world to get all the food they can grab. What they don’t know is that RJ is actually in debt to a hungry bear, who has given him one week to replenish his food supply, or RJ takes its place!

Riktigt rolig film. Skrattade högt vid en hel del tillfällen. Att sedan filmen faktiskt har en riktigt stor moralkaka inbyggd, ja, det har de faktiskt dold riktigt bra. Filmen innehåller lite av varje för var och en. Man glömmer efter et tag av att man tittar på en datoranimerad film, precis som det ska vara. Klart sevärd!
